Gift wrapping
As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impacts we have designed a range of gift wrappings which minimise the use of non-recyclable materials such as cellophane. Water bubbles are often convenient for delivery but flowers will last better if they are taken out of all wrapping and put into a vase of fresh water within 48 hours. With these things in mind we suggest the following options.
- Our signature twig collar bouquets look stunningly different and use no cellophane. The collar supports the bouquet, but lets the flowers breathe. The collar can also be reused.
- Printed brown paper wrapping with a raffia bow is fully compostable and recyclable. A great option when the bouquet is being delivered to a home address and will be unwrapped soon after delivery.
- Gift boxes are a great option if the flowers need to be transported or may otherwise be out of water for several hours, such as in an office or hospital. They use less cellophane and unlike a water bubble the water can be replaced after a few days if no vase is available. The box is also fully recyclable once the cellophane is removed from the inside.
- Vases - We have a range of glass and ceramic vases priced which remove the need for any further wrapping and provide a long lasting gift along with the bouquet. We also carry a selection of vintage tea cups and teapots which make great containers and gifts! Please call to check availability and prices.
